The Girl Dead Shot

Mae Lillie aims her six-gun that won her reputation as "The Girl Dead Shot".
She married impressario Pawnee Bill and starred in his Wild West extravaganza. The women of the West were outnumbered by the men ten to one.
The code of the West in its simplest form was merely a common ethic of fair play. The code of the West and the violence that helped to create it existed side by side, and together formed the breeding ground for the legends that Westerners themselves promoted to the East in the form of dime novels and Wild West shows.
